LiFePO₄ Battery Technology
The Voltra V16 is built on approximately 16 kWh of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) cell chemistry — widely recognised as one of the safest and most durable lithium battery technologies available. LiFePO₄ offers exceptional thermal stability, long cycle life and consistent performance, making it the preferred choice for demanding energy storage applications. The 48V battery platform delivers efficient power conversion with reduced losses compared to lower-voltage systems.
Pure Sine Wave Inverter
The V16 delivers 5 kW of continuous 240V AC pure sine wave output — the same clean power quality as the grid. High surge capability allows the system to start demanding loads such as pumps, compressors and refrigeration motors without hesitation.
Intelligent Battery Management
A comprehensive battery management system continuously monitors cell health, temperature and charge state. Integrated protection guards against overcurrent, over-discharge and thermal events, ensuring safe and reliable operation across the full range of operating conditions.
Active Thermal Management
Engineered cooling systems maintain optimal operating temperatures under sustained heavy loads. This ensures the V16 delivers consistent full-rated output even during extended operation in high ambient temperatures — critical for reliable performance in Australian conditions.
Australian-Built Enclosure
The aluminium enclosure is designed in Australia and fabricated locally through Australian manufacturing partners. Engineered for durability, weather resistance and transportability, it protects the system in demanding outdoor environments from construction sites to remote properties.
Integrated Solar Charging
The V16 features integrated MPPT solar charging supporting up to 500VDC input for peak charging performance. Charge the system from the grid before leaving home, then recharge throughout the day on site using solar panels. Combined with solar, battery and grid charging compatibility, the V16 provides flexible energy independence — whether you are powering a remote pump house, running a construction site, or supporting off-grid living.
